Camp

Campmates, duos and recruits
Your camp is who you play with. Nothing that follows moves a power-up out of anyone's stash: every reward is minted fresh, straight into the account that earns it.
Campmates
Add anyone by handle, or accept a request they send you. A link becomes a Campmate once you both agree, and it is mutual from then on: up to 20 Campmates at a time. Blocking someone severs the link for good; there is no re-request after a block.
Your camp page shows how long you have been linked. That age is the clock a couple of things get built on, so remove-and-re-add does not reset anything: a removed link sits in a short cooldown before it can be formed again.
Duos
Go for a run, walk or ride with a Campmate at the same time, on overlapping ground, and your first run together earns you both a prize drop. It happens once per pair, ever, and needs nothing set up in advance beyond being Campmates. Come for the run, leave with a prize drop each.
Recruit kits
You get 5 Recruit Tokens a season. Mint one into an invite link from your camp page and share it however you like. Whoever opens it sees a Starter Kit waiting for them: boots, a Patch Kit, the Hatch cosmetic, some credits and a Drop Bag.
That kit is minted into their stash on their first drop-eligible activity, never on sign-up alone. That is deliberate: it means a Recruit Token can never be spent on an account that never actually plays.
Shield-a-friend
A shield from your own stash can be placed on a Campmate's ground instead of your own. It leaves your inventory and stands on their cell, protecting it the same way it would protect yours. Nothing is transferred back and forth, and nobody but you spent the shield.
The standing rule
No trading, ever. Nothing is for sale. You cannot swap power-ups with a Campmate, buy or sell anything with real money, or move a power-up out of one account into another. Every reward in this system, from a duo prize drop to a recruit's Starter Kit, is minted fresh for the person who earned it. There is no transfer to intercept, launder or farm, because there is no transfer.
See how prize drops, rarity and merging work once something is actually in your stash on the stash page.
